We are looking for a curious, motivated Data Analyst intern to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur and help us transform data into actionable insights.

About the role

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with real-world datasets and supporting data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, meaningful, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and validate data from various internal and external sources
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Support ongoing analytics projects by preparing datasets, documenting processes, and sharing findings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data requirements
• Assist in evaluating and improving data quality, processes, and reporting efficiency

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with data analysis tools (Python, R, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Enthusiasm to learn new tools, technologies, and methods in data analytics
