±1M tonnes of U.S. air imports affected as the U.S. imposes tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China, effective February 4

±1M of air freight tonnes are affected as we’re entering a new trade war era with the latest round of US tariffs going into effect tomorrow:
25% on all imports from Mexico; 10% increase of current tariffs on imports from China; 25% tariff on most imports from Canada;

Retaliatory tariffs are in the making.

This represents 21% of US air freight imports (or 16% of value)
